In celebration of this new outlet, I've decided to have a giveaway for all of my current followers/customers. 
A few "rules" for this giveaway -
1. You must be a follower of this blog - 1803 Ohio Farm Baskets
2. You must leave a comment on this post
3. You must live in the USA to have free shipping. If you like the basket and you are a follower from outside the USA, you can still enter. Here's what I'll do for those outside the USA - I'll pay the first $5.00 shipping and you can Paypal me the difference.
The measurements on this basket are: 8 1/2" long, 6 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" to top of rim. The height of the handle is 9" and the handle swings back and forth, although it remains in whatever position you leave it in.
I've lined the basket with a torn piece of homespun. There are narrow maroon lines running both horizontally and vertically through the piece. This material is easily removed for washing.

Hi, Ann! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog to say hello. I commented on the blog, but wanted to make sure I answered you on your blog too! I've been soooo busy since Fall. Unfortunately, I tripped and fell last August and really hurt my back. I had to use a cane to walk or to get up out of a chair, etc. It was awful, but my back has slowly improved...still not back to normal, but better. Since Thanksgiving, our entire family has been trading flu around and around. Since I babysit with our grandchildren, I regularly get exposed to their flu germs, too, so it has been a circus of illness for a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has been having some issues and may be dealing with Alzheimers, so that has been a real source of stress for us.
With all that, my rug hooking has been progressing only slowly. The large cat rug that I started las year has gotten to the background stage, and I have designed a new geometric rug that I want to do, so at least I'm still hooking :0)
You have encouraged me to try to get back to my rug blog soon, so I just wanted to thank you, Ann for taking the time to stop by the blog and say hello. I really appreciate it.
Congrats on the Etsy Shop! Your baskets are wonderful, as always. I would LOVE to be considered for your basket giveaway, btw!
